CEE: Consulting Electrical Engineers Division
The objectives of the Consulting Electrical Engineers Division are:
- to improve the professional status of consulting electrical engineers,
- to develop better engineering standards and practices, and
- to disseminate the resulting knowledge.
These goals are pursued through seminars, meetings, educational courses, and publication of reference materials.
Who Can Join
Persons employed as engineers, designers or draftsmen involved in the preparation of plans and/or specifications for the electrical construction industry at private consulting firms, architectural firms or government agencies in and near Chicago.
Meetings
Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of each month, October through April. Technical forums are held in December and May.
Governing Body
The Consulting Electrical Engineers Division is governed by an Executive Committee consisting of nine CEE members. Their decisions are subject to the approval of the Electric Association's Board of Directors.
Annual Dues
If your Company is an Electric Association corporate member: Individual CEE Membership dues - $35 annually
If your Company is not an Electric Association corporate member: Individual CEE Membership dues - $95 annually
Retired engineers are $40. Student memberships are available with proof of enrollment for $25 annually. Students must be 21 years of age.

CEE Scholarship
CEE members and their children and grandchildren are eligible to receive funds towards their college education. The 2023 Scholarship Application program will open in March of 2023.

* Professional Development hours are awarded to members in good standing for participation in monthly meetings.
